Rave on a Mac

Anybody able to run the rave cd on their Mac? It works on my PC at the job but no luck at home.

Pretty sure it won't work.. Rave uses it's own version of Acrobat 4 w/ encryption.. they don't have a mac version on the disc.. you're best bet is to use some sort of Windows emulator (wine, vmware, parallels, etc..) to load it into a virtual machine.

virtual pc is pretty slow to me. I've upgraded to the new Acrobat Pro and can open almost anything now...

While I don't have a MAC, I do run VMware ESX , and I know VMware has their Fusion product which allows you to run Win/Unix/Linux OS's within OSX. I don't know how it compares to VirtualPC, but if their ESX server is any indicator, it kicks ass.

A couple months ago I wasted a bunch of time trying to convert the Rave CD to run natively on OSX, I was somewhat successful but I could not get the tab navigation to function properly so I ditched that plan and now just use Parrells Desktop running XP on an Intel Mac.

Yep I do not have Photo shop

open spotlight and type "preview" and again launch that app

- open the image you want to resize
- Tools > Adjust Size
- Save
