Sorry for beating a dead horse but I've downloaded from both roverresource and green oval and can't get either to work. So I ordered from EE and they're out. Anyone have any advice on how to get them to work (roverresource says I need a plug in, green oval works, links just don't) or where to buy a copy on CD? Thanks.

EE sells RAVE?

Green Oval worked fine for me last time I downloaded it.

Are you holding your mouth right?

Are you using the version of Acrobat reader that comes on the CD? It's ancient, but has the encryption needed to run RAVE.

No encryption needed to run rave. I'm on os x and have downloaded it.
Just uncompress, look inside and open one of the PDFs instead of the start exe or whatever.

The original one leaked out was tied to an older version of Acrobat. Reader 6 or higher gives an error unless you have some obscure encrpytion plug-in. On a Pc, run RAVE.exe on the CD. It will run Acrobat4 and will work. Vista may require XP mode, I haven't tested it on Vista. I've downloaded one that is supposed to be unlocked, but I have not put it in my ISO folder yet.

The version I downloaded from landroverresource.com back in March works perfectly for me on every version of Acrobat 7.0 and greater (under Windows XP). Hell, the individual PDFs for the DII even open on my iPhone. Have you tried going into the "pdf" subfolder and just tried to find and open the individual PDF files?
