If you're into techno thrillers, look up anything by Dale Brown. I particularly enjoyed Day of the Cheetah, Flight of the Old Dog, and Night of the Hawk. Right now I am reading Combat by Stephen Coonts, which is a group of 8 or so novelas, different stories of combat and different scenarios.
