Well, I had a bright idea. Thinking about making some hard wood trim for the disco. A strip above the glove box and on the door panels should look nice without much effort.

questions, the dash piece doesn't seem like it would interfere with the airbag, but wanted to make sure i wouldn't spear my passenger.

and what should i use to attach it, some kind of adhesive, or maybe double sided foam, ideas?

also, where would i find wood thicker than veneer, maybe a 1/4"? cabinetry or custom furniture place would be my best guess.

You know, you can market this. Seriously. I'd like to place an order for some kind of 'espresso' veneer, something in teak or mahogany, once you get the process down.
