My '97 D1 needs new rear brakes and rotors. In the Tech section under parts cross I found wheel bearings that are Timken #37. Has anyone used these for your rig? It takes 2 per wheel. Thanks for the 411 guys and gals.

Yes Timken set 37 is the correct bearing/race. Probably cheaper from your local bearing house, I'd say call them as well as a local auto place and the dealer to see who has the best price. Not too expensive but can add up when you are buying several sets.

yes... napa carries a china version of them. See if you can get the real timken they are a little more $ but higher quality.

you will want new seals as well as the inner seal will probably get destroyed when you remove it. www.roverconnection.com or AB ect should have all of what you need.

Thanks guys, I ordered new pads and rotors from Rovers North along with the seal kits. I did get in touch with Napa and they have the Timken 37's w/4 in stock so I am getting them tonight. The other parts will not in until next week no prob because I'm not ready to do it until then. Thanks again, Cheers.
