Hello folks, I am in the process of trying to fit a Devon 4x4 rear bumper onto my 04 D II. The fit is very snug, to the point that the bumper if bolted in place would not allow the rear door to open without dragging along the top of the bumper.
I measured the frame to body gap on the left side and the opening is about 1/2" on the right side the gap is about 1/4" I am thinking that to get the spacing needed to fit the bumper and to allow the rear door to open freely that I should put a shim between the body and the frame on each side. Any thoughts on this?
