Rear Cargo Storage Drawer Systems

I'm looking at starting to design a storage system for the back of my 1997 RR 4.0. I'm looking at two slide out drawers with a fridge and a camping cook box ( 23" x 23" x 11") on slides above. I can't make it absolutely permanent (bolted into the floor) as if necessary, I'll need access to the spare tire underneath. The spare tire could ride on the top of our Autohome Extreme rooftent during trips but I'd want to be able to remove the storage system when i'm outside camping season. The tire up top will also add to top heavy balance. I'm also considering taking out the rear seats and building another level area from the back of the storage system to the rear seats for the dog and any other loose gear. Anyone built something like this and have photos to share. Any ideas, suggestions appreciated.

Thanks guys for the thread leads. Lots of great ideas to work from. I'll post some pics once I get something complete. With the P38 RR, the cargo area is only straight up for about 19" then the tailgate causes an angle in. I've got a couple of ideas I'm toying with though.
Uncle Roger, love your tent. I sell Autohome tents here in Canada.
Cheers.

We love it too... except that now that we've got three kids, it's rather too small. 8^) I'm looking forward to the day when the kids can sleep up there and the wife and I can have our own tent. With a locking door.

I will say, that it's pretty solid -- tried to go into a garage with a big, solid metal bar saying it was 6'4"... killed the thule feet, but the tent was pretty okay.

I finally finished the rear storage unit for the RR today. Pretty happy with the results. The space between the rack and the rear door fits my fold up camp kitchen and camp chairs which keeps the drawers from moving. The back is left off the side with the fridge to allow for ventilation. Drawers are about 22" x 22" x 10" high and all run on 100 lb rated accuride slides. Rear seats can be used without affecting or shifting rack.
