I'm working my way through a rotoflex to u-joint conversion (initial thread in general section under rotoflex). I have removed the centralizing pin and the nut securing the drive flange. After removing the flange, I noticed lateral play in the pinion. Is this normal, or does it suggest wear in the bearings/diff?
I have not removed the flange oil seal as it appears in good shape and I don't have a puller. Any suggestions on how to pull this seal. Thanks, Jeff
