Wanted- Rear Door Tan Vinyl Panel with or without pocket and without speaker. Two anxious Labs decided to eat mine.

Also wanted two rear pocket panels in tan for the rear cargo area where the junp seats would go if I were wealthy enough to have afforded an SE instead of an SD. Evidently Labs like to eat these too.

Rear double female seatbelt piece. Yup Labs strike again.

All for '99 D1.

Hey Robbie, if Tom doesn't get that panel I might be interested. Mine's sort of busted up.

What are you putting in it's place?? Also, where did you say you got that spring kit for the rear door. I'd like to get it working again, it's a pain to need the key to open.

sounds good Mike. honestly, not sure, but i have torn out all the other trim pieces, so might as well pull out that door piece as well. if i put anything back to cover those areas, i am thinking some black anodized 5-bar or something along those lines. that way i can mount things to the insides of the truck. that is pretty far down the road right now though :D

here are a couple of links. they are all just off ebay uk, and i am surprised we haven't seen these mentioned over here at all. some mentioned being handed, others mention either side. i haven't tried them yet, but i will probably pick up a couple here shortly and try them out. both my front driver's side and (well it used to until the roll) rear cargo door have the exact issue of not being able to be opened without turning the key in the lock, even though the locks pop up with the auto locks.

Robbie,
why don't you give it up to Mike. I'm in Rhode Island so there would be the whole PIA of shipping. But if it doesn't worl out, I'd be happy to give you a $50 and shipping for it if you could find a box to put it in. If the seat belt is up for grabs let me know. Although I've heard somewhere that the female ends match the male ends within certain VIN # segments so I'd have to do some checking on that. Just let me know what you want to do but give Mike the first crack at that panel....Mine's been screwed up for a while and it can wait. Thanks.

Hey Tom,

Wy dont you just make it out of 1/4" plywood, you can buy alot of that for $50 and maybe an hour of your time. Then you can hang all types of stuff from it and it will have a little more strength than the vinyl. Here is a pic of mine only took about 1/2 hour. GOOD LUCK.....i just sold mine on ebay about a month ago and this is what is taking its place.

Looks good Adam, everytime I see a homemade panel I go back to my original plan of making one out of diamond plate so I can fasten a few things to it. Just what I need, another project

So Robbie, you gonna Rhino Guard or Line-X the whole interior  I liked your original idea of making it a convertible. After seeing that one at Roverland I was thinking that would be a fun project.

haha, no, i think I will keep the roof intact for now. ;) i've actually got the roof up and looking decently level right now. just need to get a low profile rack built for the truck and it should look pretty good.

i have stripped the interior of all trim and carpet, so i am thinking of line-xing/rhinolining/something to keep the heat and noise down but keep the water from collecting. i pulled the carpet and rubber mats up 4 weeks after the truck was in the open with water in it, and they were still wet underneath.
