I need to replace the door handle on the rear hatch... what is the best way to pull off the inner trim panel with out snapping off all the clips? Thanks for the input and all help is appreciated.

go to a parts store and buy a door panel removal tool. I used one to remove my drivers side front door panel with no problems. You could also use a stiff putty knife, but a tool made for the job is less than ten bucks.

I'd suggest just getting a bag full of those little clip things anyway... later on in the rover's life when the window regulator wheels shit the bed they'll come in handy!

This may sound basic but its worth a shot if it saves you time and effort. Pop off the LR emblem from the outside handle and spray the latch mechanism with wd-40 or silicone. I spray the guts every 6 months. LR designed the latch release so that a microscopic layer of oxidation interferes with proper latch operation.
