This weekend I installed the RoverConnection spare tire relocator and placed a 265/75/16 tire on the carrier. Unfortunately the rear parking control senors pick up the larger tire.
I used the "bolt-on" method vs the "cut the factory wheel studs" method. My question does anyone know if I went with the "cut the factory wheel studs" method this would provide enough clearance so the rear parking control senors would not pick up the larger tire?
Or does anyone know if the parking sensor with pick up the larger tire if I reverse the spare carrier (to accomodate the larger tires).
