rear sunroof rattle

i have (among many others) an annoying rattle in the rear and finally narrowed it done to the roof/sunroof assembly. tat area has a lot of flex like a seem came unglued, any easy fix to stop my noises. i was thinking of dropping headliner and maybe glueing some aluminum bar back there or something to stiffen it

I would take the head liner down and get visual... thats the only way you will know what is causing the rattle. Did you sit in the back and have someone else drive while you check it out?

I found the plastic drip trays on mine were loose when I dropped the headliner.
Also would not be surprised if there was debris in the drip tray like an acorn or something that could rattle while driving.

no a big rattle, the roof has scrapes like it was stuck in a garage once,maybe it broke something loose in there, guess ill pull the liner among a thousand other things i need to do

This is also a good time to re-hang the headliner if it hasn't already sagged. X2 on the drip tray though...

pulled liner, ripped off old fabric and painted it hunter green, has a nice contrast with the tan sunroof stuff and visors. also found my rattle problem, the glue holding skin to cross bars let go. rather than re glueing it i just rubber shimmed it and hope it stops
