rear windows stuck??

gota 99 D2.. my rear windows only go down half way I though this was a safari vehicle! you cant shoot photos out of the back windows.. is there some kind of child lock or something? how can i get my windows to go down all the way>> HEEEEELLP

Take a good look at the door. If the window can go down lower than half way, it is probably falling out the bottom and into the wheel well.

I worried about that too when I first got my Disco. I am embarassed to say how long it took me to figure it out.

haha. funny. there is not enough room in the in the door for the glass to go down all the way. i guess you would rather have an extra 6 inches on your wheelbase so your back window can go down eh Sally?
i could care less about the back window glass. never bothered me.

Suppose you can always remove the rear doors and string a couple of cargo nets across so the wildlife can't jump in

i thought it was some sort of child safety feature as well and went through my owner's guide a few times trying to figure out how to fix it. i was super-bummed when i found this thread. how f'ing weird!!!

Mine don't go down at all,,,maybe the curtin rods holding the sliders up.
