Good morning - new to us LR3 and the rear wiper is not working.
Motor word when given direct 12v power from another source.
All fuses are good.
Replaced the two relays next to the battery.
Replaced the two relays in the rear drivers side access panel.
The small wire of the three that goes to the wiper motor has 12v power to it at all times - even with the key out.
There is no power at the other two wires to the motor at any time including with the wiper set to on.
There is main power to the relay in the rear compartment.
I don’t believe the trigger power to that relay in the rear compartment is ever getting power.
Where to next?
How does the normal operation of the rear wiper work. If I am in park with the doors closed, ignition on, engine off, and I turn the front wipers on and then pull the lever back, that should turn the rear wiper on, correct?
As a side bar and perhaps related, my rear windows will not go down. Fuses good. I’ve replaced the drivers control switch. Tried the hold the button down forever trick and it did finally work after about 15 minutes once and they both stuck down. I had to jump them with 12v to put them up and that’s where they stay.
