Personally, I wouldn't buy anything with a rebuilt title. Besides, from what I've seen you don't seem to save a whole lot if anything with Rovers.

my 96 has a rebuilt title. it has been trouble free for almost 3 years and 35K miles. when you get a rebuilt, it all depends on the type of damage that happened to the vehicle. somtimes very minor "cosmetic/surface damage" can be enough excuse for an insurance company to total a vehicle (this was my case). it is for sale by the way.

obviously you will want to stay AWAY from water and fire damage, as these will present serious issues in the future, and major damage at all is not a good thing (extensive frame damage etc...)

We had a nasty hailstorm a few months ago, and my next-door neighbor's RRC was totalled due to some minor dings on the roof. He bought it back from the insurance co and got a hefty pay-out check too. I would buy that RRC from him in a minute. I would say that I'd only buy a truck w/ a rebuilt title if I knew it. From a stranger-- it's a risky bet to make.
