At least there were folks to stand around and stare, no one with a medical background in that crowd?

Thought the same thing man.. "Guess they're done for, let's stand around them for a bit and look at the blood"

Come on fellas, nobody in that crowd even had shoes on. Doctor or not, that one kid had his wig split, not a while lot anyone could have possibly done for him.

Anyway, when we get the awesome shaky finger footage, the could have been an entire jungle EMS squad there and we wouldn't know.

Really tough to tell from the quality, but did the rope actually break? Or, assuming they were using somewhat proper equipment, maybe the shackle mount or the pin? I could imagine a reciever shackle mount bracket flying out like that and causing major carnage, but would the broken end of a rope/strap really be able to cause that much damage to the frontal bone of the first kid and still mortally wound another? From the angle of the pull seems like the receiver tubing may have failed, and either ripped the pin through or sheared it altogether? Either way, impressive.

cue the soft shackle comments

i could see the soft shackle causing a lesion, but a d-ring obviously peels the cap back. id rather have stitches than a new place to hold a soda can in my grill.

Didn't watch the video(s), but that's an interesting take on it. I was thinking more like tragic.
