Red oil light stays on...

I have this light on once I start the truck. I tried to disconnect the sensor on the trans but the light's still there!
The trans oil is always full. Is there anther sensor for this light?

On the dr. side of the radiator you will find the lines from the trans to the trans cooler. There will be a little brown resistor mounted to the cooler, see if the connections are OK. The light is for temp, which has a sensor on the cooler.

This happened to me after a long puddle swim a few months ago. Water shorted out the sensor. I just ride with the light on and it works fine. I'm pretty sure that replacing that sensor would fix it.

The problem is I can find the sensor nowhere, just some old oil cooler with the sensor on eBay.
