I ordered a head gasket set that came with all the associated gaskets, seals, etc. to put things back together once the heads come back from the machine shop. As I was replacing the timing chain last night and looking through the box of stuff, I realized, there are several seals that I don't recognize. I think I can figure out where most of the o-ring type seals go, and the gaskets are pretty straight forward, but there are some larger circular seals with squared edges(8 total) that I don't know where they go.
Does anyone know of a diagram or the like that I can review to see where all these seals go? I have searched both here and on google without any luck.
I just want to make sure I replace all the seals necessary while I have things apart.
