I have a 98 disco which I suspect needs a fuel pump relay. I have the relay but can not locate where it should go. It is not where everyone tells me it should be, which is on the passenger side behind the kick panel. Has anyone else had this problem?

According to the Rave CD its either in the Passenger side panel or under the hood on the passenger side against the quarter panel behind the coolant reservior

Randall,
Why do you think it is the fuel pump relay, what is your truck doing, how many miles on it, when was the last time you changed the fuel filter??

Relay location

At first my 98 discovery was stalling when I would stop but then would start right back up. I first replaced the fuel filter which I am sure it needed anyway but this did not fix the problem. In fact it finally died and would not restart. At this point I discovered it was not getting power to the fuel pump. After first getting the wrong fuel pump relay and not being
able to locate it (naturally since it was much smaller than the one on my disco), I received the correct relay (fuel pump relay multifunction) which was located under the hood next to the windshield washer tank. This solved the problem and its now running great.
