Remngton 700XCR

Anyone have any expiriernce of this rifle.
I am looking at a .375H&H chambering.

Why, why not?

It's mainly going to get used for hunting.

speaking of big calibers I hear remington will offer the m700 pss in .338 lapua....should be interesting...although you would wanna be a reloader if you shoot that round due to its cost for factory ammo

I'd take a Winchester Model 70 or one of the many fine commercial mauser type actions available in Europe over a model 700 any day.

The flimsy riveted in extractor, the push feed action and a trigger that while good and easy to adjust has been implicated in many accidental discharges upon closing the bolt.
