Anyone done this, without replacing with aftermarket steel sliders? Have photos? Mine are trashed and I'd like to ditch them, but am having trouble visualizing the truck without them. Thanks

Thanks. Anyone have a photo so I can decide for myself? This is just a street truck; I have another built rig for rockcrawling.

somebody in the gallery has no plastic sliders on, i forget who... sorry.

it looks really neked though. I had it like that for 1 day only before my rockware sliders were installed.

there is a pic at www.northwestparts.com without them. It ain't purdy! I will try to attach the pic from their site.

They are back on now. The sliders were at the powder coaters when the photo was taken.

I can't believe they are using that picture on their website. The bumper is sagging, and they truck is like 30% put back together. No driving lights, no fog lights, no fairlead in the center section of the bumper, etc. Its my truck and I think it looks ugly.

Here is another photo from a different angle equally showing just how ugly your truck can look with bare sills. I am so proud at this moment.

Suppose there's not accounting for taste, then. I think it looks fine, personally. In fact, I kinda like it. My truck is nearly the same, except I have the flares removed, too. Thanks.

How do you like your NWP bumper? I am thinking about possibly buying one and just want to know how people like them. Do you think its stronger then a ARB bumper?

I don't have any experience with the ARB bumpers so I can't really compare. The approach angle is better though.

The things I like the most are that the bumper is strong, fits my RE12000 (custom work), and I like the similarity between their blade and a factory trimmed D2 bumper. They were friendly people to work with.

On the negative side... the finish is very poor. Several welds still need a grinder taken to them. The edges of the blade are sharp and therefore susceptible to chipping and some of the custom work I ordered was never completed. With a little bit of quality control they could be very good bumpers.

I'm having a local shop cut the fairlead opening with a plasma cutter this week and trim the bumper with a band saw. After that, I'm getting my custom black anodized aluminum fairlead made to cover the center section. Eventually, I'm going to buy a grinder and do the finish work myself, then have it re-powder coated. I'll decide if I still want it white after I see the bumper with the center section in black (like the factory D2 color bumpers). Until the fairlead is done, I don't think I'm going to subject my trucks front end to public scrutiny. :D

That is what I thought about them. I think I will get one of there bumpers since its quite a bit cheaper then an ARB for my RRC. I will just get it without the d-rings they sell and buy some 3/4 shackle mounts bracket things. And not have them powder coat it, that way I can clean up their welds and stuff and get it powder coated by my guy. But I am not two thrilled about having to drill my own bolt holes for my winch. But at least a T-max 12,500# winch will fit in the winch tray no problem.
