Yep I think That is one of them... The other had a bunch of rovertym stuff who I think I waved to a couple days ago.

I'm the dude with the green 110tdi.

Do you know the other XD owner? Good to see some rover addicts around town, seems the defender group is:yawn:

Yeah, I know him. His name is justin, and his truck has a huge white fox racing sticker on the back window. Thats how people tell us apart at a quick glance (even though i think our trucks look way different up close). We went on a trip over the summer with some friends of mine at work. He doesn't have any rovertym parts on his truck though, you must have seen me cause I have a lot of stuff from rte and a few of thier stickers too....

Your truck wouldn't by any chance be the 110 with the black full length cage and SG bumper on the front? I saw a really nice green 110 outside the dealership at a tire shop on virginia street this summer when i was working there.

Yep thats the one, green, tdi, full external cage and all sorts of SG goodies. My ute is set up well but the dents and scratches preclude the term "nice" :) What tire shop do you work at? I'm pretty sure reno vulcanizing is doing a piss poor job of balancing.

Yours is the one with te rovertym stuff huh? nice work I like your setup.

I saw that 110 at Downtown's Reno Vulc, about stopped to get info on the driver. I was leaving the Silver Legacy in a white RRC. I have one of the few lifted RRC's in town -although I drive a Chevy p/u most days.

Reno Vulcanizing did the mount / balance on my new Kuhmo's, great price on labor to compliment the deal of having TireReack.com in town.

Yup, that ones mine. RTE 3" suspension w/ all the goodies, RTE front bumper, and RTE sliders.... I've done a lot of other work myself like the rear bumper, etc.... blah blah...

I worked at the Rover dealership (Scott Motors) all summer and that's when i saw your truck. It was parked across the street from our used car lot. That is one bad ass truck and I can't believe it's a Tdi too. I'd love to see that rig in person sometime. I'm trying to talk one of my friends at the dealership into going on another trip sometime soon. He works in parts and drives a red D90 and a P38. There are a few others on here that may be up to going???

Bentaxel? Rover Grenade?

I might be out (again) after driving in the RAIN earlier this week I've developed another alt problem.:banghead:

Tach going dead and then coming alive. I guess I have another project that will put me in my beloved garage.

I would be down for a meet up. Although the constant up hill battle that we call "rover" dictates my mobility in the future, I need new stub axles all around.

Mabye an in town meeting , say your garage bentaxle? A couple more guys drinking beer usually solves most electrical problems:patriot:

I would like to meet up, but I'm one of "those guys" -that don't drink. Had a problem with it and I am now sober. Sometime soon we should meet for coffee or lunch and let me get the Rover talk out of my system so I don't bore my wife at home. She can only take so much and I'd like to get a closer look at the 110 and Matt's Disco.

btw, my tach eventually starts working after driving and the charging system is strong 100% of the time. Huh, I gave up for now. My truck HATES moisture.
