Replacement Plenum Filter Material

Has anyone found a good replacement for the plenum filters (aka pollen/cabin filter)? I found replacement @ roverconnection.com but was wondering if there was something common that I could get at a local hardware/parts store.

Always used Alantic British or RoverConnection or Rovers North filter replacements.

I used a filter for a window air conditioner. Cut to fit, and sprayed it with k&n air filter oil.

For my D1, I used a material normally used for roofing. It is called COBRA and it is normally used for ridge venting. Very durable stuff. However, it is sold by the roll and a roll would be way too much for your needs. Maybe you could get a sample at a building center or get some from a friendly local roofer.

wouldnt be the same size as for a p38 would they?
i found the ones for the p38 at a local parts store that fit perfect. i will look the part number up if they fit.
