Resonator?

So I am looking for a better sound and a free flowing exhaust on the LR3. Had it on the lift to check control arms, and noticed a very large "muffler" (im thinking resonator, maybe) just behind the first muffler. I want to leave the first muffler and the last two at the rear bumper, but will I achieve my goal removing the very large "bulb" in the exhaust? And how does it sound? Thanks

Yea cut that fucker off and let me know how you make out. I'd like a little more rumble out of my LR3

I cut off the exhaust between the muffler and that big turtle, sounds f king awsome , brett tell that monkey stop chewing on his winky and get under the lr3 and start cutting
