Anyone purchased a 611660 assembly from AB? Pricing for this assembly is all over the place. Cheap used, to pricey. Found 1 nos OEM $750. It still runs.

I’d be tempted to get one from craddocks for that price. Around 150 new
Good price, however I messaged them they don’t know where there made? Can’t install something inexpensive and for the time it takes to R&R. Has to be done right. Lucky8 has them $158 shipped but when I questioned where are they made? I got various suppliers. Canceled the order.

Is there a reason you dont just buy a used one for $20? They dont really wear out.
Have ticking noise at the #2 cylinder rockers at idle when oil is hot. I isolated it with stethoscope. Considering the amount of labor to R&R don’t want to install cheap parts. Thanks for reply

Like i said, they dont really wear out. Unless you pull the assembly and find the cup or the foot tab missing you're likely going to have to dig deeper and find the issue is a dead lifter and/or worn cam.

I do have 2 brand new assemblies in factory boxes.

That aftermarket rocker shaft is a huge gamble. I'd listen to the guy who works on these vehicles for a living. Investigate the real issue. You'll be glad in the end.

Recently replaced valve cover gasket on right bank did a clean up and visual of the rocker arm assembly and didn’t see or find loose pivots or worn feet, I did find a broken rocker stand bolt so I replaced all with new. However the ticking sound remains the same when oil is hot and at idle. Agreed with your comment about worn out parts and could be something else, however I replaced T/C gears and oil pump at 150k maybe needs replacement again but if rocker arm assembly corrects the ticking and again it’s at the number 2 rocker leads me to believe there’s a wear issue. What’s the price for the set? Thanks
