What makes it the best? I like my ARB, but I am also working to modify it a little for strength and approach angle.

They are incredibly solid products.

I can attest to their slider strength. They take a beating and don't bend the shit out of your doors because they aren't mounted to the sills. I've seen their bumpers in use back when I lived in the Springs. They were/are awesome.

They are made from fully boxed tubing which I'm willing to bet has a pretty thick wall. Not to mention they give you a good approach angle, have good recovery points (two shackle mounts), and so on... RW can do them a lot of different ways too...

I don't know if it's "the best" but they are good bumpers...

Rockware stuff is very strong. IMO, the strongest. I ran it on the disco for about 6 years of heavy use. Never a bend on the steel stuff, slight dings in the alum. skids. I had bumpers, skid plates, sliders and cat skid. I have seen nearly every other bumper bend.

I have heard of them and even had a pair of their sliders for my old Disco. You just don't hear much about them. With all the complaints about RTE you think Rockware would getting pimped more. I'll have to check out their website now.

I've got one on my defender. It is bullet proof! Lots of rock action and nothing but a few scratches. Matt will build to any specs. A majority of the Colorado folks run these bumpers.
