Picked up my roof rack from Northwest Parts on the weekend. They did a great job on it. I had it made so the back rail is removable so I can put my rooftop tent on the back (the tent is 3" wider than the rack)
Now it's flooring time. I don't mind spending the $$ for diamond plating, but I have a few questions about mounting it.
I have tabs on the rack to bolt the flooring down, but for those of you out there that have gone the aluminum route, did you run the deck out over the outer tubing, or stay inside it. I have seen a couple treads where there are some different types of clamps used, any advice?
There are a couple threads out there on flooring, as well as a couple pictures, but I would like to find out more than whats posted so far on diamond plating.
