Looks so plush! Trust the journey is going well. You might also look at Yakima hardware. I used to have a Yakima rack that had rectangular, threaded aluminum inserts that slid into the factory tracks on my roof. As for the front parts that mount above the driver's/passenger's seats, I have no suggestions. But I have the same rack on my LR3 and love it! Here it is in action, carrying two Pelican cases, a jerry can, two dry bags, two camping mattresses, and a chair. The factory rack doesn't have the same kind of strength as a steel aftermarket model, but it's lighter and I don't want to carry a lot of weight on my roof regardless. Post up what your solution is.

That is exactly what I paid! hahaI paid $250 for mine - can you top that?
I should also mention an easy alternative to making your own front mounts is the factory full length roof rails. Rack will bolt right up to it and looks nice
Someone on a LR3/4 Facebook did this setup and it looks pretty good.I'd be interested to see if that works. The Land Rover catalog for the LR3 specifies that the short roof rails are required for the full-length rack. I imagine that is because the factory rack came with the forward mounting feet (which wouldn't be able to attach if you had full-length rails), but if you don't have the front feet maybe that configuration would work.
