Ive been looking for one & the best price here in Calgary so far has been about $1500. Most places out of the US are going for around $1200....
Then I was turned on to this website:
www.northwestparts.com
They have nice racks for $750! Even after shipping & duty it looks like a steal of a deal!

I ordered a rack from them on 4/4/06. Finally on 6/23/06 it arrived! When I took the cardboard off ,the rack was bent and scratched. I called them immediately and emailed photos. They said if I wanted to keep it they would pay to have it fixed. I had waited 3 months for the rack, so I wasn't thrilled with the idea of waiting for another one. I sent them the quotes to repowder coat and fix the bend. They told me the shipping company would send me a check directly. Several weeks go by and I am looking for the check they promised. Now they tell me the shipping company will only reimburse 50% ! If I was told that in the begining I would have sent the rack back to them. At this point the rack was fixed and mounted on the truck. I took the 50% and put them on the list of companies to avoid.

I just want to add that I like the rack and the quality seems to be good. If the rack had showed up in 4 weeks not bent or scratched I would have nothing to complain about. I believe part of the problem was that they were moving from Oregon to Florida during this period.

I'm considering one since I can pick it up right at the factory. Can't beat the price for a new SD style rack, especially if you don't have to pay for shipping.

I went with the FULL LOW-PROFILE. With 32's and 2"lift I can still fit in some carwashes and parking garages. Not many, but a few

Ive also heard that the quality has declined and ship times are longer... I would just buy a Hannibal if you can afford it.

Good call on the low pro... Does it have light mounts? Still easy to secure everything?

The low-pro still has 5 light tabs. I've never had a situation where i needed it to be full height. Look in the photo gallery under D2's for michael harrington for pics. Reguardless of what rack you do,add chicken coop flooring. Best money i've ever spent. Do a search you'll find it.

I ordered mine last October, got it in November. The quality was crap, I had tons of holes that rusted on the welds and the mounting brakets are flaking from the powdercoating. When I called them they sent me clear caulking. You get what you pay for. I would not recomend them.

BUY THAT GUYS HANNIBAL.

I bought a NWP Full size low pro. I like it alright, but I wish I would have gotten the full size (actually I wish I would have shelled out the money for a hannibal). That low pro isn't going to help you get into most parking garages anyways (I figured it would when I bought it) Most garages in the cities are 7 feet tall and the low pro is barely over that on my 04 stock suspension. If you absolutely have to have an NWP or SD style rack, get the full size rack and not the low pro. Also, their mounting brackets rub on the top of my door when I shut it. The quality is pretty decent when you consider how much money you save when you compare to an SD. I would spend the extra money and get a hannibal over any SD or NWP rack. The hannibal rack has fully length gutter support, removable rear rails for carrying large items like ply wood, and you can throw a tent up there  .
