rotoflex to ujoint conversion...need help

Why doesn't anybody try to use a puller instead of all this hastle or even manufacture a puller as I described earlier. It's really very simple and this is the only way it should be done.

Actually I did try to use a puller as noted below. Only when I had determined a no go did I give a shout over to LR. I stopped by rover looking for the "proper" puller, it was not all that different then the socket and bolt technique below.

The master tech, said it was a waste of time, went to the back, grabbed his slide hammer and the proper attachment and loaned it to me for a second.

Those centering pegs can be a real bugger, I believe it when people say they have to be cut out.

They are installed with lock-tite that idealy needs heat to free. I removed mine with one slap of the slide hammer after applying heat. Piece of pie :p
