oil+grease leak from the rear hub. Degreased thoroughly, still looked oily brown, especially rotors . Used emery cloth on both, degreased again, still grease embedded 'freckles' on the rotors. Should I machine them?. Haven't even noticed a drop in breaking performance, discovered the leak when taking a wheel off after a flat tire.
I need a vehicle tomorrow so I'll put it together like it is.
Would like to know though what is the right course of action.

I had the same situation going on, both sides. After changing the hub seals, normal city driving made it go (burn) away.

If I was your mechanic I would replace the pads and rotors just for liability issues.

did the breaks 10kkm ago so for now I'll go with Ataraxia aproach and see how it works.
As I said, I didn't even noticed I lost breaking on one wheel.
Thanks for your input guys.
