Rotors with Paint

Hey Guys,

I bought genuine Land Rover rotors, but it looks like they were painted. Do these come with paint or is it some kind of protective coating? The layer of paint is coming off, but some bits are stuck in the pads. I guess it will blow off with time.

I paint my rotors. The sucky thing is that you have to touch it up all the time. Now I carry a can of spray paint with me and get out at every stop and touch them up.

Protective coating. Brake clean takes it off no problem
