I pulled into a parking lot the other day and saw a pretty sweet Disco. Looked like someone is building up an offroad rig---til I saw the wheels

I guess I always knew in the back of my mind that these were available, but this is the first time I have seen them installed

My favourite is when you see this beautiful, brand-new Range Rover sitting in traffic next to you. You think, "wow, that guy did good." Then you see people who think that they're from the inner city with the funny fabric on their heads, the basketball jerseys, and the "bling-bling" around their necks.

I dont really see a problem with it. I think a nice set fo polished wheels looks good on a disco. Especially a set of factory wheels like that. I have goven thought to polishing my prolines but think too much work would be involved.

Personally I think its the same as putting a set of beadlock black steels with superswampers on a lamborghini.. but thats just me :)

Upkeep on polished rims always seems to be a lot. Even though that is a bad photo, it looks like they haven't kept up with their maintenance...

I really want to get ahold of one of those Mothers Powerballs and see if it is any good. It looks pretty decent.

I'm currently stuck with those same wheels on my 4.0.

Don't EVER let me find the joker that put the "Limited Edition" badge (yeah, I know, probably the dealer) and fugging pinstripe on her.

What kind of "limited Edition" badge is it? Not the ones they seel at AutoZone I hope.
I'll snap a pic tomm morning. It looks decent but doesn't belong there by any means.

Here is a not so detailed pic, but you can see the location and the god-awful pinstripe.

Wrning: Picture taken in a parking lot!

oh no. thats it.... the $7.99 limited edition badge from AutoZone..... it could be worse tho!

Awesome...or not. I had ASSumed it was part of the chrome rims/pinstripe "package". I know alot of car dealers do similar things to push out cars, and was hoping at least a dealer went to AutoZone then slapped it on. ;)

Ryan,

An outstanding point that I had never thought of before.

So, now, it's not just you!
