Completely rebuilt 3.9l V8 short block + heads + extras
$2700
Located in Mount Vernon, WA

Never run. Stored in my workshop in plastic bags since the rebuild.

The 3.9L block and heads came out of a 1995 discovery which was an interim year between the the v-belt 3.9l and 4.0l variants. It has been fully machined, cylinders honed, crank ground .010 over. Rods and pistons were checked for clearance and cleaned. Heads have been cleaned, pressure checked and resurfaced, new valve stem seals installed. The camshaft is a 4.2L grind for a 1993 4.2 which has the longer snout to accommodate a distributor and has a more aggressive grind. There are new lifters which have been soaked in oil to aid in pump up. That is about the size of it. The block is assembled minus the top end.

Comes with my old V8, complete gasket set, hoses, belts, water pump, etc necessary to turn this beauty into a long block. *AND* I'll throw in the engine stand so you can get started working on it.

The engine was built by Scott Williams, Shop Foreman, Land Rover Spokane. He's a Land Rover Master Technician and has over a decade of experience working on Land Rovers
