Not to be rude, but I would love to see any evidence of that besides the hearsay. We wouldn't send Proline in place of Genuine, ever, unless the customer requested/knew it.

Implying that one of your customers is a liar might be considered rude.

From the EE thread:
...They said I would have had to wait all of 4 days to get the genuine so it’s their policy to just ship the proline one without asking.

One would think that when you make the choice between genuine and non genuine you’re telling them which part you want. I guess not because they said if I wanted only a genuine hose then I have to say that in the order notes when ordering online or tell them that over the phone. Isn’t that the point of having a choice between the proline and genuine? This is just stupid. They are now shipping me the correct hose....

And why even offer hack hoses like that? Have some standards instead of chasing the cheap fucks.

That has never been a policy of ours, we always tell the customer if we have an in-stock aftermarket option. It is possible that a salesman didn't by accident. Unfortunately those things do happen on occasion.

It's the hose that Allmakes sells, it's better than telling the customer, "buy genuine or keep your leaking/old hose"

and FWIW the photo that Allmakes uses is a moulded hose, not that cobbled together piece. They have sent both

So, it's a crap shoot for y'all, as well. We customers don't usually worry about the supply issues that the vendors have to deal with. Now I will take that into account.

Generally it is not a crapshoot. Allmakes typically is pretty honest about their products-

Hey, watch it. I resemble that remark.

There's a difference between being thrifty and being a CheapFuck™

CheapFucks™ wallow in their CheapFuckedness™, never really understanding that if you couldn't afford these trucks new, you probably can't afford it used, either. They'll cobble shit together that would make a Somali pirate cringe. Then they'll show that shit off like it's the cure for herpes.

If you dare question the shitty nature of their cobbled-together shit show, you're an elitist, purist, or whatever other class warfare claptrap the guy down at the bar that dropped out of fucking middle school fed them during his most recent addle-brained rant about why Coors is better than Budweiser.

I get the URO part shit from time to time. I will get genuine used depending on the part. Rarely do I get genuine new. I think I bought URO TREs, expansion tank, 180 t-stat, window regulator, and the main hose assembly (changed out the clamps on that). Everything's been holding up well except the regulator. I AM a cheapfuck, but I don't cobble shit together. I also don't have a family to worry about so no worries about having my kids and wife stranded if my cheapfuck part fail. I actually like testing the aftermarket shit to see if it lasts. The window regulator is struggling after about a year, prob needs to be regreased. I do eat a stupid amount of drivethrough so maybe thats why....
