Anybody on here running a Rovers North winch bumper? It seems similar to the TerraFirma but at a better price. I'm in the hunt for a replacement bumper after a tagging a deer about a month ago.

It's similar to Britpart, but it's not exactly the same. Like Randy said, don't beat it on rocks and you'll be fine. The nice thing about the RN one is that it's galvanized.

Yep, looks pretty identical to the Britpart bumper I bought from British Pacific on sale last year for ~$400 if I recall. Minus, of course, the lame LED lights. http://www.roverparts.com/Parts/DA5645

My Britpart bumper has taken a bit of a beating, and is still performing well. A couple of notes, though:
1) There are 3 mounting holes on each side, so the frame is only sandwiched on the upper bolt. This hasn't been an issue, but I still don't like it.
2) The wheel arch section required trimming to fit 33" tires under articulation on a 3" lift. Just need to trim back about an inch on the ends.

If you do end up buying one of these, Rovers North is basically the best place to get the recovery eyes that fit. http://www.roversnorth.com/ProductDesc.aspx?code=RNASRP&type=0&eq=

I live in the wasteland of off roading...Wisconsin. No rock bashing anywhere in the area. I basically need a new bumper and this is cheaper than a stock replacement.

One of my sons has the non~LED, Britpart version of that bumper. A perfectly acceptable bumper at its price point but you’ll need to trim it at 32s or you’ll spear the tires at full flex. He runs 35s with a good cut and it seems to clear ok. It’ll take a few bumps but might be necessary to beat back into shape after a few hits. A good value for a “green-laning” or overlanding bumper but will quickly reveal its limitations on the rocks.
