I have a set of 4 Cooper Discoverer AT's in a 225/75/16 for a Range Rover Classic. They are a tad taller than the stock Michelin's but look perfect on a non-lifted classic. They come mounted already on 4 3- spoke rims. The tires have about 6000miles on them and show little to no wear. They were purchased just over a year ago at around $95 a piece not counting mounting, balancing and valve stems.

The rims also look brand new. As far as used rims go, you would be hard pressed to find nicer 3 spoke used rims out there.

I found some defender take-off rims and tires in a bigger size, so i went with a mild OME lift and these rims and tires and not the older 3 spoke style when I restored my truck, even though they are practically brand new.

Anyway, I would like to keep the rims and tires together for the sale, partly beacuse I have no use for these rims anyway now. I think a fair price is $400 for them. NOTE: Two of the little plastic wheel centers caps are missing because I am using them on another truck.

I am in Morristown, NJ. The $400 is really not negotiable since I priced them fairly to begin with. I can meet the buyer within reason to save on shipping costs; but I would require a little extra money for my fuel to do this!

PS File too big to upload. Email me directly for a picture

Hi. I just moved to Morristown from PA this past summer. I would love to go wheeling. I hear from a mechanic I know at High Marques Motorwerks (recommend highly) that there are some good spots right in Morris County...

I have a stock '89 and a pretty modified '91.

FWIW, RRC 3 spokes are great for wheeling. They have a ridge in the rim that creates a channel for the bead so it helps hold the tire in when you air down. I have them on my D1.

Oh yeah, I'm in the Long Valley area so let me know if you guys are up for wheeling sometime.

jeff, it is the green one with driving lights, basically stock at the moment. somehow they can't seem to hunt down a distributor and its been off the road for a long time, got to call tomorrow and see if any progress was made.

as for the IIa i missed it. the last time i was back there i was intrigued by the 911 that had been rolled at what i could only assume to be very high speeds. they were moving it on dollies, nothing was straight and the whole frame had been twisted badly. A guy was there that i think was the owner, everyone was ok in the accident.

jaime and jeff, shoot me an email ecnoj@optonline.net

sorry about highjacking the thread too :D

Pictures of tires and rims that are for sale as well as the truck they came off of...

This one I am going to keep stock and have it restored (partially there). The green one is going to get quite a facelift as the money allows!

There are only 3 guys who work there, its a pretty small shop. one of which is in his 20's and into building bad ass trucks... He's got a bunch of land cruisers and a G-Wagon from the 80's that he is rebuilding. the G-Wagen is also sitting behind the shop, but its pretty torn up right now.
