RTE 3" driveshaft question

So, I've been waiting over a month just to hear when the 2" springs are gonna be in and over this time I think I've come to my senses and decided to go for the three inch. So...

1. I've read that to order driveshafts you have to give measurements. So, I install the lift then measure. Will I be ok driving around with the stock driveshafts for a little while until they come in or should I count on pulling out my weekend/nice weather vehicle for a bit?

2. What size tires are ideal for a RRC with RTE 3" (I prefer skinnier rather than fatter)? Pics would be awesome. I know I know. Search. I have. Lots of pics. Lots of info. Difficult to find the two together.

3. What do those of you in cold weather climates recommend for MTs/ATs with the best snow and ice ratings?

4. I know RTE springs are built to support accessories but should I count on ordering some 1" spacers too with an ARB and EPi9.0 on the front?

Thanks in advance.

- I drove on stock driveshaft on a 3" lift for a few years. U-joint snapped and I got a nice Tom Woods one...

- 255 85 R16 or 265 75 R16. I added a 2" body lift when I went to a 3" suspension lift, but maybe with some light trimming, 285 75 R16's (which is what I run).

- the new BFG KM2's are amazingly good in all conditions. Off road, on-road, ice, snow, rain, etc. Better than my old BFG AT's.

- Those RTE HD springs are stiff as hell. I don't think you'll need any spacers.
