Has anybody ever had a failure with either link?

Anything concretely negative about either one?

I haven' t heard it yet, and not on this thread, except that there was a problem with a Scorpion supplier that they corrected. I find that comforting.

seems to me like you can't go wrong with either one, and maybe you should speak with Adrian to get some accurate info on the SR links. Sure, he sells them, but he's an honest guy who won't try to bullshit you, and will steer you in the right direction.

Steve at RTE is the same way.

We're lucky to have some honest vendors in the Rover community, so why not take advantage of that fact?

All I was saying is aside from the stickers the parts look identical down to the color. SR did a good job of copying them. Assumptions are the mother of all fuck ups you know. Thanks for the info.

Has anyone actually ordered stuff from Draken?

I have done business with them several times in the past year. No problems, and they are nice people. I have their drag link and tie rod and I bought steering stabilizer brackets from them and I got a new damper from them. I am going to buy new rear links from them in the next month or so. They are at a reasonable price. I am going to eventually peace together a new suspension from a lot of their products.

The quality of there products is amazing. Their parts are almost so nice looking I hate to beat them up on my truck. And they are very beefy.

As for SR, I did not say that they were bad products. I just said they are knock offs and that you can get better quality stuff. And I have used SR stuff. My dad had a bit of SR stuff on his D1 before he moved on to a D90.

All I know is my SR bumper and swivel recovery eyes are BEAUTIFULLY designed and the craftsmanship is top notch. The bumper has a great approach angle and I like the way it bolts to the frame with an extra two bolts in the rear. Ive heard this rip off talk before but dont really care. For the 550 I spent on the bumper and 100 bucks on the swivels, Im very happy. Only grip is the winch tray isnt quite big enough to bolt in an EP. XD fits perfectly though. Gordo
