**SOLD** someone came today and bought the whole thing.

1998 Discovery 132k miles

Now parting out.
Runs good. Straight body. Rust free. Always been a desert truck. Straight body. No dents. Paint is fading on the hood and roof. All the lenses are good. No cracks. Grill is good. Windshield has a couple chips. All other glass is good. Sunroof and heated seats. Seats are typical ripped up w covers on them. Back seats are good.

New Radiator. New Battery. New Master Cylinder. Bunch of other new sensors etc. Sitting on 235/85/16 good highway tread. Runs good .Head gaskets have been done. Recently according to the previous owner. No codes that I'm aware of. Can't drive it much w the trans issue.

Trans is bad. It intermittently goes forward. Always goes in reverse. I will include a known good used trans out of a truck I drove home.

1500obo w the trans. Ive already pulled the bad trans out for a other buyer who backed out. Willing to trade or partial for D1 off road parts. Lockers/gears Rock sliders diff protection etc etc.

Located in Las Vegas 89128. I will help w shipping on my end. I do have the spare tire.

Id rather sell it whole. If it doesn't sell by Monday or so then I'll part it out. I've got 3 other projects going at the moment. Plus work and a wife. I don't have the time. Especially since I won't get all that much more after I've done it all.

Yes. Parting it doesn't have a time clock. I can move it to outdoor storage to free up the space in my garage. I can pull parts as people want them. Instead of dicking around w a truck Im not going to build, i will move the F250 I'm getting paid 2k to pull the heads and rebuild the front end. Then pull in my MG after that to pull he motor out of that. Going through the hassle and time of putting a trans in, getting it all dialed in, then begin selling it doesn't make much sense. How much am I gonna get for it? 1800? Maybe? I'd rather make 2k profit in my pocket rather than break my back for maybe 2-300.

Hey guys. I'm sorry to leave you hanging on the requests. I need to come up with a better way to ship heavy items like the radiator. I always get ridiculous quotes for shipping costs. How do you guys ship larger items?

I do still have the radiator. I'd need a 100 for it. It's new. But the shipping would be a lot I'm assuming. New one wouldn't cost too much more.

Front door panels aren't that great. Map pockets are missing. Tops are sun cracked.

I can check on the kick panel.

Thanks, Shiftonthefly1. Whenever I've shipped bigger items, they've gone via Greyhound package express- you wrap up the part and drop it off at the nearest Greyhound station, and it goes by bus to the nearest Greyhound station to the purchaser. I've received and shipped entire LR bulkheads and bull-bars that way, and never had a problem...and it's usually the most economical. In this case, I located a radiator locally, but thought I'd pass on the shipping info for you to consider as you ship other items off...
