I don’t have their or any snow blower but I have a health collection of their other yard tools. I have been really happy with them but did loose a battery after a couple years. Was shock to find out that it’s almost as much for a new battery as it is for the whole mower. Luckily between all the tools I had 3 batteries. Now with two ,I can still get everything done that I need to.

Don't have any experience with this SB, but I do have a lot of experience with snow removal, some with using a gas powered blower. A SB is probably one of the more power intensive jobs you'll do with a lower powered cordless device. Home Depot says UP TO 30 minuets. 2-3" of light fluffy snow I'd give it that. 3-4" of wet snow may be more like 10 minutes. It really comes down to where you live, what kinds of snowfall you get, and how big of a hurry you may be in/how many batteries you are willing to buy.

Yeah unless you only get fluffy stuff I don't think I'd bother with an electric.

I can't imagine what 4+ inches of snowman snow would do to the poor thing 🙂

Edit: that being said, if you only have a tiny driveway or something small to clear, maybe an electric will do.

Or buy an extra set of batteries. If you don't let them go completely dead and rotate them on and off the charger you can probably keep the thing going.

Videos reviews online seem so show they do better than the above comments, but have not bothered yet. So for I have kept up and my monster gas powered just needs a new starter and gear. Likely just get it fixed. We get everything here. We have probably had about 3 ft. 1 ft last week and then others over smaller snows. So far manual labor has been it.

Yeah I will say I've never actually used them, but from experiences with other sorts of battery tools, electric seems to "bog" more easily.

If I were going to go battery I would probably go with the highest voltage I could get... Looks like ego makes 56V ones versus the 40V for Ryobi.
