I am yet to completely understand the difference between ALL of these trim levels. Can someone post a website, or write down what the differences are?????

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention that the question above refers to Discovery II '03 and '04 models.

I just found this little clip that has a few of the model differences.

2000 Land Rover Discovery II: Addition of an integrated compass to the rearview mirror was the only notable change for 2000. A new fuel-filler-door indicator went on the instrument panel. Ford bought Land Rover from BMW this year.

2001 Land Rover Discovery II: For 2001, the Discovery reverted to three trim levels--SD, LE and top-line SE. Adding the optional 3rd-row seating changed badging to SD7, LE7, or SE7. An optional SE/SE7 performance package included 18-inch wheels and Active Cornering Enhancement. A rear self-leveling suspension was standard in "7" models, and available for the LE and SE. Leather interior trim was standard for the SE/SE7. A new 10-speaker, 220-watt premium audio system became available this year.

2002 Land Rover Discovery II: A new top-line HSE edition with DVD-based entertainment and navigation systems debuted this year, joining the base SD and midline SE. The LE model was gone. An optional Suspension Package for the SE/HSE added Active Cornering Enhancement. A rear self-leveling suspension was standard on seven-passenger models. Leather upholstery was standard on the SE and HSE, along with 18-inch wheels (versus 16-inch for the SD). A limited-production Kalahari off-road edition went on sale later in the year.

2003 Land Rover Discovery II: A 217-hp 4.6-liter V8 replaced the 4.0 V8. The grille, headlamps, and front bumper were restyled for '03, and instrument graphics were also revised. A rear-obstacle-detection system was new and exclusive to the HSE.

2004 Land Rover Discovery II: In 2004, Land Rover produced 200 limited-edition G4 Editions, named for the Land Rover sponsored off-road challenge. The G4 is orange and includes self-leveling suspension, front brush bar, rear access ladder, and lamp guards. Also new in '04 is a driver-activated locking center differential.

There was a Westminster in there too... but it was just a gimmick trim thing. Some of the details listed are incorrect- such as SLS on all "7" models, which isn't true.

Yeah as far as limited editions, there were the Westminster (if anyone has one of these, I would love to see some pics), G4, Kalahari (white, and Yellow) and my favorite the Trek.

im still confused to the difference between the S and the SE. Just seems like the S doesnt have any fog lights and comes with 16" wheels. but the price on 04's with similar mileage, there is a $3000 difference. What else is different on them?
oh yeah, the S has a solid black trim piece on the passenger side dash instead of the wood.

most S models had vinyl interior no sun roof while most se had leather interior and sunroof. However my S has leather but no sunroof. The material on the doors is different. se hse have a suede mine is a tweed. neither appears to very durable.

Was leather really available as an option on the S? A while back I saw a G4 on eBay with black leather, but I think it was installed aftermarket because the piping was different.

S is just your basic trim... vinyl, no sunroofs and a 100w 6 speaker stereo, no wood grain, no moon roofs, no fogs, black plastic bumper, 16 in wheels, generally no heated seats or windshield, no SLS

SE had leather, 2 moon roofs, most have heated seats and heated windshield (if not all), 18" hurricane alloys, Harmon Kardon 320w?? 12 speaker system with subs, color keyed leather on steering wheel and fold down arm rest

HSE came with all the features of the SE models but also had SLS standard, Rear Park Assist, Navigation, and a slightly different set of 18" alloys

I think thats most of the differences... If I'm wrong someone else will chime in
