I kind of dig it, besides the fact the photos were taken outside in the snow. Makes you wonder if you could fabricate some kind of fiberglass removeable top, like a Series or the like.

That would cost you more than the truck is worth. Hell, a custom canvas top is gonna be upwards of $1500 for this.

At this point any expenditure on our trucks, aside from your LR3 of course, begins outweighing the cost of the truck. Just enjoy it, my truck's a piece of shit, but I'm obsessed and all over these forums while I should be studying.

Kind of like it. To bad he didn't put a on canvas top, after all there is a "roll?" cage to hang it on.
If it really went on safari I think that the title really means - open meat platter for you lions

Having spent plenty of time in African game parks watching carnivorous beasts at close range from the backs of converted Land Cruisers and Defender game-viewing vehicles, I can tell you that an open vehicle is pretty safe.

The real worry is when the dumbass German tourist decides he has to have a better angle for his photo and gets out of the vehicle to approach the lion.

Plus, when it's 98 degrees out in the sun having an open air vehicle is more comfortable than being jammed into one of those awful matatus that circle lions like they are tourist-packed vultures.

Not on all of them. Possibly cheap fuck trucks yet there are still some nice Rovers owned by folks on this site other than especially LR3s.

That's going to be the name of my next band: Cheap Fuck Truck.

Our guitars will be out of tune and the amps will blow fuses during the show.

I want to not like the Black LSE, but I can't help myself... That thing is kinda cool. I've never liked convertible range rovers, but that disco is nice.

I doubt you would even have to pay someone to make a canvas top. A very limited set of sewing skills and a lot of canvas is all you would need. Just a big rectangle, and sew the ends so it doesnt fray. Put some snap buttons on it, and you would be good to go. The windows, like the ones on the black LSE is where it would start getting hard.
