Hi, bit of a newbee here on the board but pretty good with the truck, just purchased the deal of the decade imo and got a front safari gard bumper, rock sliders, rear bumper, and all the pertaining skid plates. I am curious about 2 things, 1 any advice or info people have on putting these items onto the truck, tips tricks whatever, and 2 does any1 have any ideas about getting some sort of lights onto the rear bumper as to still have turn signals and rear fogs??? turn signals are more important to me than the fogs but id love both some how if i could.

Guys the wiring isnt the issue at all....the problem is the safari gard rear bumper replaces the original bumper (obviously) but also removes the hitch assy as it is integrated into the new bumper...but the bumper is only about 2.25" in width on the flat spot the lights are in on the original. The original lights are aprx 2.5" if not a little bigger...they dont fit...ive looked into some truck lights such as a dump truck but those are also too big and dont fit...i dont want to cut the bumper too much and then loose the strength it has

I drive a '00 D2 and did not get the newer tail lights. However, I do NOT have the fog lights.
I modified my lights to accept a turn signal... you can't tell from the outside( and no I don't have pics)
It's not hard, take out your housing and run the signal wire up from the factory location.

+1 if that is your mentality.

there are smaller truck lights out there as small as 1" circles. you just need to look harder. they would in fact fit on an SG rear bumper.

I have a sg rear bumper. i ran the turn single lights to where the back up lights use to be then wired the back wire to my rear work light that's on my roof rack.If you dont want to do that get a trailer harness and wire it up just like a single lamp trailers have.

thanks for all the input...spent a long while online and finally found something that was close to what i wanted...led strips that are 3/4" wide. am going to mount these onto the bumper as turn signals...will put some pics up when its done but that might be awhile as i dont have the time to install the bumper right now...i hate when i get new toys and cant play with them
