This rack is posted on solaros and it is the expedtiin rack from safety devices. I would jump on it but I have an sd low adventure rack
the la ruta maya rack is not very desirable. it is bolt together construction and not very stout.

yes. and now you guys talked me out of it. I am replacing my disco with chuck's green disco formerly mark mason's... I am flying up to virginia tomorrow to drive it back to atlanta. You didn't describe your roof rack at all, you described a film that you could see it in, that's not describing the rack. To make things more confusing Land Rover marketed a roof rack that is not high quality, but was used in the 1995 La Ruta maya race, so there was some confusion.
