I’m intent on removing the SAI on my 02 D2. A non-SAI truck was stripped on the engine harness, fuel pump harness, fuel pump, vent canister assembly, gauge cluster, bcu and ecu. Swapping all of these in are no issue. What had me questioning the conversion is the the difference in wiring. The engine to main harness connectors are not pinned out the same. Some say just throw in the non-SAI components are it’s a done deal. I don’t see how this can be when wiring is compatible. Any input from someone who has actually completed a conversion properly, IE not CEL lights or other issues?
