Just received my new Saudi grill today: early b'day/fathers day gift to myself. I needed to replace my damaged grill and found this new one on ebay. It is a new factory correct grill and the seller has at least one more. I bought this one at auction for way less than the other one he has for sell at a buy it now price. Anyway the other one listed is still not a bad price if you want a new original Saudi grill.

Not sure exactly what the rules are for posting a link to an auction but this is not my listing and I am just hoping to help someone else out.

item # 150781543499

Here is a pic of the one I received this morning:

Not trying to bust your balls too hard, but the Classifieds sections list 'Do not post links to E-bay type auctions'.

I did not pay anything close to the $300 and since I needed a new grill and wanted to do a Saudi type replacement it was cheaper for me to buy a new one. I figured a used replacement was going to cost at least $50 by the time it was shipped to me or I could take my chances at the pull-a-part and if I could find a good one one it would cost less but by the time you factor in the the fuel to get there and back it would still cost close to the $50 not to even mention the time. Then I would have to spend the time and dollars to do the mesh conversion which would add to the $50 and easily double it if I want it done right. I unfortunately do not have the time at the moment as my business has picked up a few new international accounts; it was cheaper for me to purchase a new one that is ready for paint and does not need repairs.

I did not post this in the classifieds section due to the verbage there but also chose to post it here as a heads up and thought it might be of interest to others. It is a rare part and seemed to be a very good deal expecially when it was at auction. I have refrained from posting other items of interest but I had just received my part today and knew it was a legit listing for a rare part that others might find of interest. I was surprised that I was the only bidder on the auction but I have noticed the buy it now item has now sold.

199 plus shipping instead of 299 plus shipping. Important thing is that I was comfortable with the price and I will no longer have a busted factory grill. I would not have spent the money if I was not already in need of a replacement.

Actually I paid less if you consider the ebay bucks that I needed to use before they expired: that saved another 26.

This is my 2001 D2 with 1994 D1 grill , so yes it fits , but you have to change front bumper to avoid gaping hole between grill and bumper ...on the second thought do as you are pleased...

I'm running a D1 Saudi on my '03.

Minor trimming (gawd love Dremel!) and it fits perfectly over top of my steel TJM bumper. Paid about the same as the OP and bought it for the same reason, oem got crunchified.
I'll try to get a pic posted.:D
