I just noticed in your signature that you have a DI. I'm not so sure the Saudi spec grille would fit w/o modifications as they were originally fitted on DII's. If it helps here's picture of a Trek DII with the grille.

Hope this helps.

If you don't want to dish out the extra $ for the "cool look", you can either put holes in the plastic bumper (1.25") takes about 5 minutes and 1/2 a beer, or you can replicate the "Saudi Grill" by placing Chicken wire on the back and bolting a frame to support it...

The remaining +100$ can be added to other stuff you saved from by doing it wisely and then you can get yourself and nice ARB for some serious machinery...

I've been searching for the Saudi Grill for some time IN Saudi/GCC to no avail except for very steap prices!

Enjoy

I've searched the Earth for one. All of the places listed will not answer phones or return emails. I had one on my old truck 99 D1(totalled now). I stripped the grille before it was taken away. I purchased an 03 so I tried selling it but ended up donating it to Solaros LR Club for a charity auction. Sure would like to have another for a D1!

I got the D1 grille from Devon 4x4 almost two years ago. At the time they had a pile on the shelf. I just checked with them for the latest price and have been told they have a "problem with supply". Looks like the world's stock of genuine grilles is running dry.

It's hard to see behind the lamps and that stupid ARB 'thing' that I hate.... but there's a Kalahari grille in there somewhere, thanks to eBay.

Steve...how functional do you find that Trek tiara on your roof rack?...does it do much to protect your hellas?...I'm kinda curious and might pull the trigger if it'll save my investment in Hella's

TIA Marcus

I like it a lot. The limb risers are a LOT more useful mounted out that far as well. Many of the trails I go on are heavily wooded and the protection is undeniable. It's a little steep on price, but it fits perfectly and is very well done- like all Trek stuff I've seen.

My supplier of LR parts in the UK can get you one. That is where I purchased mine. The company name is Central London 4x4. Check out their website and give them a call. The owner's name is Paul. The website is www.cl4x4.com
