Are you interested in a laptop setup, or a handheld unit?

Are you just interested in the OBDII codes (SES light) or do you want to be able to do dealer only stuff like flush your brakes with the ABS pump? The latter requires that you have a Testbook, Autologic, or Rovacomm/Rovacomm light setup. The former can be done with most any laptop OBDII software and a cable or with a handheld code reader from your local auto parts store.

i just bought the cheapest one from advance auto parts for $80. it doesnt do anything special except pull the codes and erase them, but it gets the job done.
