I really dig my Red Tatter Tot.

it makes camping anywhere really comfortable and easy.

I know that I gave up rack space but in the end its worth it for me.

It was the key factor in getting my wife out back camping, thats something I have done since I was a kid and wanted to share with my wife and daughter. The roof top tent made them both feel better about it.

I know that they are not for everybody but they do serve a purpose for me.

I'm making headway in getting my wife to just sleep on the ground. I just bought a 12 x 15 double-sided tarp and I'm hoping to get her to just sleep on top of the tarp this weekend. I'm going to "forget" the tent and not bother to take the back seats out of the D2. My daughter definitely needs the tent or inside the truck, though. Too many monsters out there in the woods.

i don't like the way you implemented the top bar of the front basket, but i've seen SDs with the top rails completely cut off and liked it.

when i make my rack i'm going to make it usefull for an RTT. although i probably won't ever get one.
